I'm really glad this is in my favorite audio, I would never find it again otherwise. Man this track is just all around nostalgic and I really enjoy when the clap kicks in. Sounds like fl's default clap which is lo-fi enough for me to consider it a retro piece. haha did i mention this track kicks ass and loops well?

wandschrank responds:

I made it with Renoise a while ago, but it's possible I just used old FL samples because they sound, like you said, pretty lo-fi. :D Thanks for your review!

nice man this is funky! Gonna agree with everyone bout the ending.

bpleez responds:

aight aight, thats enough complaints, i get it now haha jus playin, thanks for the review bro, i appreciate it.

Nice sounds, I see myself cruising to this. Also liked the last three notes out. Its a nice blend of machine techy drums with lush pads and dark string hits. Haha I'm looking for something to critique and I can't find anything therefore you've done an awesome job!! ...theres a lot of reverb on the keys at the end..which could maybe be switched to a delay so it isn't so big in the mix? okay have a nice day.

GershBeats responds:

thank you kind sir! I'll keep your tip in mind because usually I just think MORE REVERB.

pretty wild man!

Reptiore responds:

Ur mom. Jk jk lol.

nice. simple an sweet. Really like the keys on each beat makes the rhythm drive, just needs an mc.

battlecat responds:

ty! want to do more with usa mcs so holla! ;p

Smooth one! Really nice pace.

Jimmypig responds:

It's dubstep speed (140) but the way it's done gives it a slower pace I think

wow!!! Amazing! This one's special. Is that a real drum kit? Could have fooled me! Took a few listens to really capture everything. That bass groove works so well with the keys, and that pad is what gives me that frigidness, which alone carries a lot of feeling! Reminds me of FFVII mixed with Gran Turismo 3 which is probably why I love it so much.

BlazingDragon responds:

The drum kit is NOT real! Isn't it amazing what can be done with software these days? :D

I did play the key, pad, and bass parts through a MIDI controller, although I cleaned them up a bit after the fact.

Thanks!

Best thing I've heard on NG in a long time! Loved it, only thing I felt didn't fit were the cymbal creshendos and crashes..they just threw me off..Just an opinion, the rest was a feeling of great magnitude, beautiful.

BlazingDragon responds:

Thank you! I'm not too happy with the cymbal patches that I have. It's so blasted difficult to get them timed and placed in the mix correctly, haha. :)
